The Wizard- Hitchhiking Montage
While it really is just your average everyday traveling the road montage, it’s really the song that does it. Send Me an Angel by Real Life – hells to the yes! The part where they ride with the bikers is pretty sweet too.
The Karate Kid- All-Valley Tournament Montage
Grabs you from the second you hear the whammy bar action of Joe Espositos guitar (I bet you it did not have a headstock) and travel to the mats where there is some major karate going on. My favorite part is the fat Cobra Kai guy who comes out punching. You are the best around, nobody’s gonna sepa sepa sepa sep (you don’t know the words either)!
The Secret of My Success- The whole movie
Seriously the whole movie is one awesome montage after montage. Too many good ones to isolate one.
Rad- Love Montage
Cru Jones and “little miss special #1” Christian Holly (Lori Laughlin) take their BMXs and slowly fall in love, while doing “a little table topping” (childs play), launching themselves into a river and of course ass-sliding. All backed by the smooth tones of John Farnham’s “With You (Love Theme from “”Rad”)- yes that is the actual title.
Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead- Sue Ellen Gets A Job
Christina Applegate’s character Swell is preparing to be part of the corporate world it’s so 90s it hurts.
